SKRUM team with the new KIA SportageThe SKRUM Coaching team took delivery of the new KIA Sportage today. KIA Motors Swaziland MD Mr. Danny Lee handed the keys over to SKRUM CEO Michael Collinson at the SKRUM offices in Malkerns. Collinson thanked Danny and said although we had to wait for the new model Sportage, looking at the car it was well worth the wait.
We here at SKRUM must say a huge thank you to KIA Motors for the marvellous deal they have given us and support they have given us by loaning the SKRUM Programme cars whilst we were awaiting the arrival of the new car. We never missed a day of Coaching or visiting new schools and that is down to KIA and their generosity. Chairman of the SKRUM Trustees, Graham Collinson was in the Kingdom on a fact finding mission and was pleased to be on hand to see the new car arrive.
With 80% of schools in Swaziland situated on dirt roads and of that 80% half are on roads which require a 4 x 4 vehicle to reach them and in summer when the rains come require a 4 x 4 vehicle and very, very good driving. The Sportage is a great vehicle to have and I'm sure will be up to the task, added Collinson.Swaziland Sports Council CEO Victor Shabangu with SKRUM Chairman Graham Collinson
