Following a SKRUM Coaching Day at the school the head teacher Mr. Aksed if it would be possible for the school to have a Sipho "Easy" came the reply from the SKRUM coaches and all four got stuck in.

Flying into the country yesterday, they will both spend three weeks in Swaziland working with the SKRUM coaching staff and painting Sipho's at schools.

Dvokolwako High girls on the attackDvokolwako High school held a Coaching and Tag Rugby Day at the school yesterday. Following a Teacher/Coaches Workshop held at the school last week, head teacher Mr. Kunene called the SKRUM office and asked if we would introduce Rugby into his school as the pupils were very interested.

They will be working with the SKRUM coaches for the next four weeks at schools and with the U/19's Elite Squad. Naomi du Pont welcomed the boys and thanked them for their support for SKRUM. "With the Jmaes and Tom onboard we can now have two fulltime coaching teams on the road visiting schools over the next four weeks. They will be a great help
Zandondo Primary School pupils in actionZandondo Primary school held a Coaching Day at the school on Monday. Zandondo Primary is situated near the town of Dvokholwako and proved a little difficult for the SKRUM coaches to find. Asking locals for directions was not as easy as it could have been as everyone said "Go straight" On driving the coaches found three forks in the road ahead, but managed to 'guess' the right way.
Paul Collinson receiving the 500.00 pound cheque from David SomersThe Rugby Football Lodge held their first 'Sportsman's Dinner' at the Masonic Hall, Greenhead Road, Huddersfield when over 120 attended and were entertained by David Howes, the former Rugby League Secretary who assited as MC for the evening and Sky Sports Rugby League commentator Mike 'Stevo" Stephenson the former Shaw Cross, Dewsbury and Great Britain International player. Mike also played down under in Australia for Penrith Panthers.
Community Coach, Simanga MagagulaSimanga Magagula from Luve home of the Elephants Rugby Club has joined the SKRUM Coaching Team as a Community Coach. Simanga will be responsible for all the schools who fall under the Elephants and Lion's Rugby Clubs in and around the towns of Luve and Mliba.
