Ezulwini Community Primary join SKRUM Programme

DlaminiEzulwini Community Primary became the latest school to join the SKRUM Programme.  Head teacher Mrs. P. E. Dlamini welcomed the SKRUM Programme and Development Coaches and thanked them for bringing SKRUM and the game of Rugby to her school.

St Michael's Primary enjoy the SKRUM experience

St Michael's boys in actionSt Michael's boys in actionThe second school on the list of three was to be St Michael's Primary.  Sports teacher, Mr. Mabuza attended a Teacher/Coaches Workshop held in Manzini a few months ago and invited the development coaches to his school.  "We welcome you too St Michael's Primary and we assure you the pupils are so excited you are here and we thank you for coming" said Mr. Mabuza.

 

 

 

 

Ka Zakhali Primary join SKRUM

The Ka Zakhali Primary girls in actionThe Ka Zakhali Primary girls in actionWednesday saw the SKRUM Development Coaches complete three two hour coaching sessions at three Primary schools within the City of Manzini in one day.  The first coaching session was held at Ka Zakhali Primary.  Thirty boys and thirty girls joined in the coaching session and all seemed to enjoy their first taste of the game of Rugby.

 

 

 

 

Mangwaneni Primary host a SKRUM Day

Mangwaneni PrimaryMangwaneni PrimaryThe whole school came to a halt on Tuesday as Mangwaneni Primary held a SKRUM Coaching Day.  Mangwaneni Primary is situated on the outskirts of Mbabane.  Head teacher Mr. Jabulani Nkonyane invited the SKRUM coaches to his school after watching a Rugby coaching session at a nearby school.

SKRUM supports Shukuma Project

Naomi du Pont at the Rugby stand.Naomi du Pont at the Rugby stand.The Development Coaches joined other sports at the Swaziland Sports Council "Shukuma" sports day held in Matsapha.  The aim of the Skukuma Project is to raise awareness of the different sports within Swaziland.

Lobamba Lomdzala High SchoolLobamba Lomdzala High SchoolThe Development Coaches made the short drive to Lobamba Lamdzala High situated in Mahlanya to hold their first Coaching Day at the school.  Lobamba Lamdzala head teacher Mr. Magongo had seen the Swaziland Rugby Union's Elite U/19's Squad in action and called the SKRUM office straight away.
