Rugby Roadshow kicks off in Piggs Peak

The New Year Rugby Roadshow kicked off in Piggs Peak yesterday.  The Rugby Roadshow will take place in nine venues over the next seventeen days.  SKRUM CEO and Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson kicked off the Rugby Roadshow in the town of Piggs Peak in the north of Swaziland.  "Rugby coach, Naomi du Pont is the driving force behind the idea" said Collinson.  "I think it is amazing what Naomi has put together and she must be congratulated for all her hard work and effort"

 

 

 

IRB to give money for balls

..The International Rugby Board have pledged 2,000.00 pounds to the SKRUM Programme and Rugby Development within Swaziland.  The money will be used to buy Rugby balls to be used in the SKRUM Programme and the Swaziland Rugby Union's Rugby Development Programme.  SKRUM CEO and Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson said he was delighted with the IRB's pledge and thanked the IRB for their support.

Sipho signs on at 70th school

SKRUM 200 Club launch in London

South African Rugby Union donate Springbok jersey

The Welsh Rugby Union supports SKRUM

..The WRU has shown its support for the SKRUM programme by creating and publishing a video on its website.  The video features interviews with Michael Collinson, founder and CEO of SKRUM (shot at the fabulous WRU Centre of Excellence), and Steve Fenwick, Wales and Lions Rugby Legend as well as footage of the SKRUM team in action. Tavistock hold auction to raise funds for SKRUM

The Tavistock Rugby Club held a lunch and auction of Rugby memorabilia on Saturday at their Club house to raise money for the SKRUM Programme.  Eighty invited guests attending the function bid for various items including Swaziland Rugby Union jerseys, Lion's tour kit and  a Barbarians jersey.  The auction was followed by a game of Rugby played between Tavistock and Cambourne Rugby Club.

Melbourne RFC Raises Funds for SKRUM

Melbourne RFC Mini and Junior section spent the first Sunday of September, like most clubs signing forms for thier registration day but this season it wasn't all about the club. Every player signing up was asked if they would kindly help to support SKRUM by purchasing a raffle ticket or two and they were more than willing to help.
